  • Got a 20mm adapter that won't budge off a DT240 axle

    I’ve put it in the freezer overnight with the expectation that tomorrow I can pour hot water over the adapter and it will loosen the threads and should allow me to unscrew it

    Are there any flaws in this thought process?

    I’ve got a bearing still on the side that has the adapter. I presume -18C temp isn’t gonna damage it too much?
