I’m thinking of a Hero White vs 3+ Silver. Pretty average use, I don’t have a huge telly and not really into high spec for the sake of it. (I get trade price so not interested in alternatives unless as good and massively cheaper)

    Differences include:

Prosumer vs consumer low light performance (prob not that relevant, can’t see me doing much night time filming, does it matter at dusk or indoors?)
    60fps vs 30fps.
Ultra wide, medium, narrow POV vs Ultra wide only.

Neither has superview or auto low light as per new models.

Any of these likely to cause regret at buying the cheaper white?

I guess it’s down to what you’re intending to do with it. The 60fps will give you the ability to do slow motion and medium/narrow does give a bit more flexibility. However, if you want to get creative in an environment which doesn’t need an action cam’s strong points (ie waterproof/small), then you’re better off with something more suitable like a good quality compact.
So, if it’s just a headcam for the ride to work or a day at Brechfa that isn’t going to be made into a fancy film then White is probably ok.
