Go to the northern quarter and have the finest kebabs or curry’s known to man, in one of the little cafe’s

I shall be doing so in … erm… about ten minutes

Or go to the chophouse and have a steak pudding. They’re staggeringly good. You need to be hungry though. They literally are a babies head!!!

I’ll have you know that Hunters was voted the best kebabs in the country by no less an authority than the readers of the Sunday Sport.

And I’d imagine they know a thing or two about the subject. They probably exist on them to the exclusion of all other foods

Koh Samui – Thai, the have a cheap lunch deal.

Sam’s Chophouse is a good call.

Piccolinos – better than the average Italian chain

    Dimitris – decent tapas

I really like Oklahoma – a veggie place in the Northern Quarter. In amongst Binner’s beloved curry and kebab caffs, This and That being the best one.

Chaophraya above Sams chop house. Epic Thai food.

oklahoma does nice cake, but you usually have to fight your way through what looks like the cast of skins to get in. in my experience, anyway.
but they do sell fentimans ginger beer, which as far as i’m concerned is worth braving almost anything for.

the baked sweet potato with veg curry and mango chutney absolutely rules.

some of the bowls that they serve food in does look like it’s been dug up though.
