Is there any Radio 1 or 2 DJ/reporter/sportsreader not at Glastonbury? I believe there might only be 173 actual fans there to see the bands. The other 163,827 might be employees of the BBC.

Saw something in the paper yesterday saying there were only slightly less people from the BBC sent to Glastonbury than there were to the Beijing Olympics. Another good reason not to pay the TV licence...

Over 400 BBC staff attended in a variety of guises according to the paper. Apparently the BBC got a bit sniffy at the Beijing comparison saying they were the "official" broadcaster for Glastonbury. If that's the case, why aren't they being paid to do it or doing a revenue split rather than having paid 1.5 million of our cash for the benefit?
