Was hoping to goto Gisburn in the morning but I've just read hully gully is closed…is that still true ?

Hully Gully was closed last Sunday when I was there, everything else seemed to be open. It was drying up nicely, should be good tomorrow.

If you want somewhere to park get there early, when we arrived at 0730 the car park was deserted, when we got back at around 1000 it was over flowing.

Yeah, I'd say so.
The gully diversion is double track but fast and fun.

we rode… I was very underwhelmed.. maybe it really misses the gully as the high point. Most fun part was natural section after the gully. and the Blue / Red parts back to the CP.
