there was talk of remedial work being done to the rollercoaster-gully (really fun) bit which may be closed.

you mean part of the red route where its like loads of S bends downhill that bits cool

yes, that's closed for about 6 weeks

yes we shut it yesterday for resurfacing , it will take another two good gigs at least i would think , next one is provisionally scheduled for two weeks time so if you want to help keep an eye on here for confirmed dates

so is it worth going tomorrow or not? is the play area still open etc

every thing else is open but the top end around whelpstone crag is very muddy

Pretty much all still rideable except for 100 yards up by the crag, just keep off the Gully, anyone found in there in the next couple of weeks will be seriously abused. It's vital it gets a chance to bed in before it's ridden again, luckily the rain today should be kick starting that process.

stumpyjon - Liked your new postcards. You need to drop some off with Tim at the Dog and Partridge. Loads of people in there yesterday and the pub will be an ideal place for putting out the word on how to get involved with dig days.

just come bk from gisburn i really enjoyed it, apart from the fact most of the trails were muddy and still a fair bit of snow on the northshore but it was all still rideable and still good fun, yes the (hully wully) if im correct the rollercoster section was closed but i wasn't bothered as i knew what condition it would of been in, overall another good days riding

Cheers Ed, meant to drop some off, got some posters (A3 size) too. Got to pluck up some courage and go round the local LBS and ask if they'll put them up (don't really need the excuse to go into Ride On though
).Credit to Mr Barnes above for the photos though.

Sent you and email with some .jpg files of what I knocked together. I know how difficult it is to get people out digging, the more I can do to take away the excuses and make it easy for people the better. Let me know what you think.
