So day off tomorrow and looking forward to a ride. If the weather’s good I’ll head for the Dales, if I need shelter I might go to Gisburn. Are there any trail closures at the moment – and how much. I’m sure I read somewhere that part was closed for repairs. But I can’t find anything on the Facebook page and the web page has latest news from 2010!!

The blue/red section (that’s mainly boardwalk) just past the cafe up to (I think) the final Bermy bit near cocklet hall car park is closed for repairs. The last few times I’ve done the 8 I’ve got to the cafe and ridden straight on to the car park. However for the time being the “off piste” parts that were used on last weekends gravity enduro are still open for use if you want to have a dabble.

Thanks for that – looks like its only a short closure then. Although I rather like finishing on that final bermy bit!
