can anyone tell me if the 2009 giant anthem x frame only is the same spec as the 2010 model. thanks

Yes, other than the new 2010 shock.

Buy a 2009 whilst you can. Bikes are going to be in short supply next year and very little discount. Big boys have scaled back on production. My local dealer says he's getting 1-2 bikes for every 10 he orders.
Picked up an 09 Anthem X3 for very decent money and frame hasn't changed for 2010.
