A small group of us are heading out to the Chamonix valley for a week in July. Mainly mountaineering, but would also be up for a day or two of mtb and / or road biking. Not worth us bringing our own bikes over, nor hiring a car, so does anyone have any recommendations re:

– transfer from Geneva airport to Argentierre (in the Chamonix valley) for 5 people
– mtb and road bike hire shops (must have small sized bikes – I’m only 5′!)

For five of you I would expect a shared minibus type transfer to be about €250-€300 return.

Private transfer would be a bit more, Maybe €400 return.

May be cheaper to hire a car ?
