    Just wondering if you can get opensource mapping like ‘talky toaster’ maps for the Alpine resorts to use on a Garmin 800.

    Talkytoaster does mapping for other countries too, you just need to email him.

    You can use this website: http://garmin.openstreetmap.nl/
    It has OpenStreetMap Garmin maps for anywhere in the world.
