I have just got a Edge 500 and was using a Edge 305 where I could set the my own max heart rate and speed setting on the 305. I was tyring to set it on the 500 last night but could see how but I now see you should set it on Garmin connect or the training centre . Can any one tell me where and how I can do it please.

Settings > Training zones. Remember to send to device too.

Sorry I can not find this on any site and I am starting to think I should have just tried changing the battery on the 305 as it seem to be so much easier to set up.

Log in > then top right, the drop down menu beside your username, go to Settings.
