Can I adjust the settings / screen options from my desktop instead of on the Garmin unit itself?

If so, what software can you recommend?

Thanks for your help out there in STW land….. 😆

I very much doubt it – I’ve not got one, but I’ve used all the other edge models and not come across it.

It would be a useful thing to do though.

you can change the basic setting of your height weight age etc from the garmin software and download to the unit

The rest is onboard only – why would you want to do it from desktop?

@wwaswas – things like intervals, zoned riding, hill climbing (ascent) etc

I use the garmin training plugin in Sports tracks. The Garmin client software allows you to do that also I think? You can also set the zones using the online Garmin Connect.

lucien – ah, misunderstood, thought you meant what you see on the screen.

Have a look at ‘workouts’ in the garmon software – let you set up all sorts of things and do an audible beep etc when you shoudl change pace for intervals etc.
