I have a gamut double on a fairly standard orange five pro (please don’t hate me).

I am having a some issues with fitment though, with the bolts that hold the gamut bash plate to the cranks fully tightened the bash plate fowls the chain when the chain is on the outer (old middle) ring.

I loosens them off but this has resulted in one bolt working loose and dropping off!

Anyone had similar problems? Not quite sure how I can improve this?

I seem to recall them coming with(or requiring) thin shim washers to fit between the bash guard and crank arm.
Edit:it was requiring, now remember having to raid my own stash of shims for them. I got mine from Wheels Manufacturing via Madison, part no.WM0030, pack of 20×0.6mm shims for 79p.

Ah brilliant! That would explain it then, pretty sure it wasn’t mentioned in the instructions but will get some on order!

Which bash is it? I’ve got 2 Gamut P30s on shimano cranks and both needed shorter bolts (or shims obviously but shorter bolts is neater)

It’s the p30 dual ring guide.

Think spacers would sort it out, going to order some tomorrow.
