Looking at getting a new espresso machine. Is the classic still the go to machine?

Can’t fault mine – bought on here second hand and still looks brand new.
Occasional back flush and working perfectly.

Me too, bought a reconditioned from Gaggia, 4 years ago, still knocking out the black stuff really well.

I believe the newer ones don’t have the brass internals – I could be wrong though, I might be confusing it with the Baby.

    I love mine.

Bought ours second hand about 10 years ago. Still gets used day in, day out. Still makes good coffee. The chassis is getting a bit rusty in places (Inox is NOT the same as stainless steel), but it still “just works”.

Assuming that it hasn’t changed in terms of being very basic and fixable inside… yes.

Ya, it is still good. Have used mine everyday for at least 5 years now.

Apparently Gaggia Classic II 2014 is available here … Not sure what is new.

Had mine for 2 years now. Used daily, never had any issues to date, produces great coffee.
