Are they any good and whats the sealing like on them?

The bearings are knackered in my current headset (FSA Orbit MX) and they are about £22 to replace.

Ive seen an Orbit XL2 for about the same price brand new. Worth going for the full new headset or jsut getting replacement bearings?

XL2’s in most of my bikes now – simply because as others have failed I’ve replaced them with XL2’s which just keep going and going. Surprising, really, they don’t seem especially well sealed – but they do seem to last very well.

always used them, but got a blackspire shore thing on the ventana.
it is being replaced by a fsa dh pig tomorrow.
the pig and xl are both great imho
