I've just discovered the pedal insert in the arm of my carbon crank is working loose leaving me with a wobbly pedal, not great! I know this is a documented problem with these cranks, I've had them just over a year and have just emailed CRC to see if I can get a replacement. Does anyone have experience of this problem, what do you think are the chances of a replacement?

They might be super light and stiff but I'd have to say I'm pretty unimpressed with the cranks what with this problem and the crank bolt that just won't stay tightened.

    Problem 1 = Araldite

    Problem 2 = Locktite

Sorted, I could bodge for England me 🙂

I'm a fan of bodgeing but it would be nice if components with these kinds of price tags worked as they're supposed to and would stand up to reasonable use. (Even if I did get it for half the rrp!)

Yeah they do this. It is a known issue with the 2008 ones. 2009 ones are fine. Send them to Windwave if CRC don't want to know,
