My front wheel / Tyre weighs in at 2klo. Does that seem heavy for a general trail riding fs?
Its a 321 rim, 36h hope xc, 185 rotor, ss skewer and steel bead fire xc pro.
Whats yours weigh?

Well your rim is quite heavy duty, but only thing I’d really suggest is losing the steel bead tyre, jsut extra weight as far away from the hub as possible.

Suppose the set is a bit to bombproof for what I need.

1926g for a 321 on a dt440 hub, with 185mm rotor and a maxxis advantage 2.25 folding tyre and a thickish tube here.

Weighed mine on the bathroom scales.

Seems about right then for that combo.
Must get a lighter wheelset.
