  • Front derraileur cage screws- any idea sourcing replacements?

    Fleet of twenty bikes to maintain, and two of them have lost the screws which hold the two halves of the front mech cage together.

    Can these be purchased as spare parts, or does anyone know if a standard short M5/6 etc bolt would do?

    The rest of the bikes have been checked, and said screws tightened!

    It's just a standard cap screw AFAIK

    go to LBS and see if they have any junked mechs?

    Load of bolt suppliers on ebay. A couple of quid will get 20 or so, usually in stainless as well.

    a post on here asking for a replacement from a knackered mech should do it if your lbs can't help
