Most should at least offer you a discount if you're buying a bike from them at the same time. Few will give you free stuff.

When I worked in a shop giving a couple of freebies to seal a deal was not a problem. However that was not in Yorkshire, they may do things differently up there.

Asking nicely will get you discount or free stuff at most shops. I got 10% off my new machine, it's not here yet though. 😥
