    Am I right in thinking the cost of updating all those parts, during a service, will cost the same as a new shock? That is quite a considerable update. The inner tube, the valves, the piston etc – all different – it’s essentially a new shock that looks like the previous one.

    I can see much mentioned in that document apart from more oil, is there anything major happening with the standard Float X? X2 won’t fit my frame 🙁

    Theres loads – new RVS valves, new piston, new seals, increased oil flow by reducing the diameter of the inner tube, new top out bumpet…mojo didnt seem very impressed by the dhx2s previous ability to deal with top out.

    I was going to have my secondhand one upgraded with a climb switch – so if its not a crazy amount more I might ask to have the rest done.

    This will teach me for being impatient and not waiting a month for the 18 model. Ill ring mojo.

    New bridge as well so basically all new shock as the main seal head is different too.
