Looking for a bit of single track advice I have purchased some new but old stock fox f29 I think they are around 2011 2012 model. My question is do you think I should replace the oil although unused the are 5 years + old.

Not an expert, but if there’s a simple way to check that there is sufficent oil in there (an top it up if needs be) without doing a service, I’d go that route.

A lower leg service takes about half a hour given that they’ve been sat around for 4-5 years I’d do it just to confirm the wipers have fluid etc more than checking that there is enough in the lowers.
