Does anyone have an idea on what, if any, internal changes have been introduced on the 2017 Fox 36 vs the 2016? Can only find a very brief comment on Bike Rumour about improvements to LSC.

Trying to work out if the newer version is much of an improvement or whether to go for a 2016 model. FWIW, I’m after a 160mm, 27.5″, Float Factory FIT RC2 with standard axle spacing.

Alltricks have 2016s cheap, I picked up their last 170mm one for nearly half price

Unless the 2017s come with £500 in an envelope, I’d be going 2016

I’ve just picked up some 2016 36’s having spoken to TFT about them (a lot). Apparently Fox are changing very little if anything, as they did the year before.

By all accounts Fox are very pleased with them and having ran them for a few weeks now I can see why. Best forks I’ve ever owned. They take some tweaking to suit your style but once you’re there they’re spot on.

I think the shim stack was altered a tiny tiny bit to give a more subtle low speed compression feel. It was a very minor change.
