I think a set of Skinwalls on my Spitfire would look rather nice. Now, as much as I am a tart, I don’t want to sacrifice grip/weight/rolling resistance etc…

Its mainly used in trail centres with trips into the Peak or Lakes. Any recommendations for options in a 27.5 flavour?

Onza Canis 2.25 would be spot on. You may want something bigger/grippier up front, but I found them to have more grip than a pure xc tyre.

Skinwalls are disgustingly grotesque. Make your tyres look like you’ve been riding through Bernard Mannings arse crack.

They are truly vile, I don’t really understand why people are fitting them except to bikes that’re 30 years old or more.

They are conditioned to like/need change, so they buy crap they don’t need.

Awful things. They need to be left in the 90’s along with Ronhill trousers.

Maxxis do most of their range in 27.5 skinwall.
