    Are they sellable?

They are Fox 36 TALAS and they seem fine. I’ve been using them without any issues, it’s just that I never use the TALAS function.

Depends how deep they are, does put people off however so I wouldnt expect close to top used prices, but a new CSU (crown steerer unit) will set you back a couple of hundred.

Those marks up that high wont usually be too much of a problem since i doubt that the fork compresses that far much. You wont get top dollar but a defect like that woudl certainly attract me as a buyer if I needed such a piece of kit.

Thanks guys, pretty much what i thought. The trouble is that i’ve been offered some new forks but i don’t want to buy them only to find i can’t sell these.

You could always do the DIY repair with clear nail varnish and ultra fine wet n dry, so by doing the work you should increase the re-sale value.

Yeah, I was intending to do that anyway.
