Got a problem with my rockshox revelations. They are dual air forks and they are making a knocking sound at the beginning of the travel. They are however working nice and plush.
They have had new seals etc fitted recently … they are however quite a few years old.

Any ideas what the knocking could be? and how to solve it? or is it time for new forks..

Could be bushings…put your finger between the stanchion and fork brace, apply front brake and rock the bike back and forward seeing if you can feel the stanchion compress against your finger.

Are they u-turn as well? Quite common for the u-turn helix to knock.

Thanks. Appears to be the bushings.
How much will the tools & replacement bushes cost (anybody have a link where to get them also?) or alternatively – how much does TFT etc charge to do it?
