Having built up my first proper mountain bike using mostly parts brouught off here and a few parts savaged for place I feel it might be time to upgrade my forks. Currently I have some very old Rhox Shox Dart 2 on my bike, the frame is a Mongoose Super Tyax.

What does the collective mind of Singletrack suggest I upgrade them with? I generally ride cross country and a wee bit of trail centres. The budget is around the £150 Mark but could possibly stretch it a bit is the misses is looking the other way.

Pikes might be a bit much – heavy and long. Having said that I did run some on my XC bike for a while

Anything from a bit further up the rockshox range will be better.

rebas are always a safe bet for XC and a little more abuse.
