I’m just about to buy some fork oil (15W) any recommendations or even ones to avoid? Currently looking at he Castrol stuff on ebay for a £5.74 for 500ml

Chances of two 15wt oils being the same spec is slim to nil. What do you want it for?

I use Stendec. Always found it good:
Stendec Crystal Fork Fluid

They do a rear shock fluid too and a very good grease. All for reasonable money.
