    engine size is 1.8.

I’m getting a rumbling when the car is stationary and the clutch pedal is depressed. No trouble getting gears or clutch slip.

Think it’s prbably the clutch throw bearing, but wondering if it’s worth having the whole clutch replaced as I’ve just turned 86k

I continued to drive mine for 6 months with no effects on perfofmance ,it just got worse so you could feel the clutch pushing back when you put your foot on it, my mate said I could keep driving it but in the end it would just disintergrate ,I know of a few people who have had it done on mondeo and focus and it as been around £600 and all have had flywheel clutch and pushrod ,I aint no mechanic though but do know you need one of those twin post ramps for the job
