Nearly 4 years in on a tax return, after two lots of ‘oh, we lost your return’ and another ‘we don’t believe your figures, despite them coming of emloyers PAYE’ and some ‘hmmm, that is with department X in Liverpool / Glasogow / etc’ and finally ‘ohh, you don’t need to get a solicitor on us, we are only doing our job’, I have a shiny letter stating that £wedge is due back in my account pronto….
