I take it that's running on compressed air, rather than actually combusting?
I'm impressed & loved the machining of the crank shaft. Wonder how long he can run it for must be very little lubrication if any at all.
My Dad used to make a few engines but not any where close to this. Used to run his on compressed air.
didn't see any tiny spark plugs
could be diesel like smaller model aero engines? sounds a bit quiet though
iv'e seen a few of these and a few v8 superchrged also pretty amazing you have to admit

Far too quiet though and appeared to be no cooling, so must be running on compressed air
If you could build one which ran on petrol, then i'd love one, as i'm sure the internal combustion engine will be banned in my lifetime

On one of Clarkson's programmes there was a model maker who had made a model of a Ferrari Le Mans stlye racer (can't rmember the meodel) with a fully functioning copy of the engine. Not sure what fuel it ran on though.

I remember that. It was fully functioning. I remember the maker saying that if you could shrink someone to fit inside it it would run like the real thing. A working clutch, a working accelerator pedal, brakes, steering wheel etc.
