Those aware of the 4 Downhill tracks and occasional visitors who use them might not be aware that the availability of the tracks is subject to a contract from the Forestry Commission. In order to build and run the tracks, the FC requires it to be managed by a club and all users should be members of the club. The club is a voluntary body and most members will give free times and tools to build and maintain the tracks and trade benefactors / sponsors often help providing materials.

There is a special membership rate for those joining now for the whole of next year. If you are hoping to ride their soon and your membership has lapsed or you were not aware you needed to be a member feel free to pop on over and join in.
