Been a few years since I flew with my bike. I used to let all the air out of the shocks and let most of the air out of my tyres, so they had about 10psi in them.

I presume some people have flown tubeless – ok?
Do I still need to let the air out of my forks?

    Thanks

    Oxy,

No issues at all. I left all alone when flying to and from Australia and everything was fine. I may have been asked by the check-in staff if I had let the tyres down and I believe I may have fibbed a little.

I’ve never let them down and never had issues.
    The luggage compartment is pressurised.

Thanks folks – knew the hold was pressurised but just needed some real world experience 😀

If it’s in a box, just lie when asked.

Do not ask the check in staff whether the pilots will be letting the air out of their tyres.
