Daughter really weak and unwell with the flu – any recommendations to speed her recovery? Any medication recommendations? Many thanks – worried Dad 🙁

If its real flu then have yo been to the docs? Otherwise paracetamol and fluids (even for real flu thats the only treatment really)

either way unlikely to really be flu at this time of year as levels are low (you’re in UK?)

doc/drop-in centre if you’re really worried, otherwise likely to be self-limiting and without any genuinely active treatment if she has “severe cold” -type symptoms

Plenty fluids & sympathy
If v uncomfortable or proper high fever, paracetamol or ibuprofen recent stuff here about overuse of these drugs in kids
(also, you’re not supposed to use both, mostly as increases risk of you doing it wrong although both is prob more effective than either one)
