Yes! I tried to post some pics up to a thread I’d been following on here yesterday. No luck! Don’t know why though

    Trying on a phone/tablet?

I can’t do it anymore on the iDevices only on PC. Can’t scroll enough on the text to get a complete link to share when. It on computer. Assume iOS isn’t handling the pop up box properly as switching browsers makes no difference.

Edit. Previous comments then pretty much confirm iOS issue.

It’s been like this for ages, from what I’ve read it appears that Flickr isn’t interested in creating an iOS interface that works properly, the inability to be able to scroll along the text box or select all is either inept or just ‘we don’t care’.
Seems remarkable, considering how many tens of millions of iOS devices are out there, but then look at how Photobucket have shot themselves in the ass!

Has it? Don’t use it all that much anymore. Must have the same attitude as the developers of the SoundCloud app for iOS then. On Android you can read track info and comments etc on iOS it’s just a player basically.

Have you set you phone to upload the camera roll? Are you trying to share from the camera roll or the photostream?

My photostream is public the camera roll is private. You can’t share private stuff from Flickr.

A couple of things I have to do now (on mobile phone). Flickr does like to make it challenging.

    Firstly, change to desktop mode.
Then, hit the little arrow to share. So now the little box comes up with the bb code already highlighted. If I touch the code it no longer gives me the option to copy it. Now, I have to touch just off the code in the box so that it de-highlights it, then touch and hold the code again whereupon I get a pop up allowing me to hit ‘select all’, then ‘copy’, then that’s it.

I’m using IPad, IPhone and pc. It’s only easy with Flickr on the pc. Nigh on impossible with IOS as far as I can see.

I used to use photobucket but that’s shot itself in the head, so imgur looking like my choice for posting from apple devices

Photobucket seems to be dead, I can’t even access anything on the site, let alone the several hundred photos I uploaded there.
I’m attempting to use Imgur, but not having success getting a photo to show here. I’ve uploaded four photos, copied the link, dropped that into the img box here, but I get no photo, only an empty box.
    Any clues?

Are you on Android? If so, get that little Flickr add-on linked above. It makes the whole thing bloody simple.
