Went out this morning and had a great ride with sun and a thin covering of snow and heavy frost. Had no problems on the bike but managed to fall off my feet twice, one a real comedy slide as I was unloading the bike which ended with the bike cracking me on the head ( I of course hadn’t put my helmet on at this stage!) Any shoes for flats that have any chance of gripping in slippy conditions? Or shall I just find some treaded trainers that aren’t too bad on the pedals?
I only switched to flats after last winter getting fed up of being unable to clip into spds with an excess of snow on pedal and cleat.
