    Its nearly ready.
i took a mockup photo of my 700cc inbred yesterday (a mock up as i have no rim tape, so i just popped the tyres on with no tubes)
but it doest do it justice.
also going to swap the riser pinched from my dirt bike, for a flat bar, which i will be picking up on sunday all being well!

    SO
Please show me your flat bar road rides, as a warm up to the grand unveiling on sunday 🙂

An inbred with 700c wheels and flat bars? That’ll be a hybrid then?

reminds me of the time I was telling a mate about my new road bike. He asked if it had flat bars, I pointed out that if it did it wouldn’t be a road bike.

i knew that would come up

a bike, which has been built to ride, on the road.
    a bike for road

    fussy buggers.

does putting dropped bars on a MTB make it a road bike instantly?

The term road bicycle is used to describe bicycles built for traveling at speed on paved roads. Some sources use the term to mean racing bicycle. Other sources specifically exclude racing bicycles from the definition

not a road bike, or near a road, but a mtb with 700cc wheels, which is kinda where the thread started.

Just picked up a Kona Dr Dew, it’s the quickest thing I’ve ever ridden!

No 700c wheels, but a flat barred bike for riding on the road.
