there were pics of the riding in some empty water storage unit for a power station, or something like that. was it just me who felt that that place was wasted on such bikes/riders?

not realy, nothing there to challange either a road bike or a mountainbike, the comparison is being made to a giant velodrome, so why would it be wasted on track bikes and fixies?

Actualy, big, smooth, well drained, no real challenge is it a new red route at a trail center?

well i suppose so. but if you're riding fixed then you can't go to the top, point straight down those crazy slopes and see how fast you can go… hence, wasted!
