Thinking of leaving the SPDs behind for a while and going flat. There’s some of those 5:10 freeriders knocking about cheap at the moment. Are they any good? ( I have searched here!). And is the sizing accurate? I’d be getting them mail order.

I have used freeriders before and found them to be sized pretty generously, certainly wider than some other shoes.

I wear a size 12 and they were fine in this size, I have recently bought new fivetens and bought size 11.5 which also fitted fine, just ever so slightly narrower.

I find they size up well too so I’m a size 9 but step wider and have gone fir a sey of 10UKs

They are super stiff which is ok but mine are the vxi version which are flat on the one part of sole.

I think I like them but prefer the ankle high tops that the impact hi versions had.

They look funky too the freerider vxis too.

And are probsbly better weatherproof wise than my old impacts.
Plus my bro bought them for me at £45 new
