    Thinking of getting some of these, but struggling to find anywhere to try them on. How do they come up size-wise against Vans…. Think I'm an 8.5 in Vans, so wondering whether size 9 in the Five Tens would be OK…

    If it's any help, I take size 9 shoes, and bought size 44 Freeriders. 43 would be the perfect fit but wanted the extra room for thick socks + Sealskinz in winter. Have not found any problem getting them tight enough when just wearing thin socks
