I’ve taken delivery of some lovely looking Shimano Zee cranks and in the box are three plastic bb spacers and two small metal washers. Do I need to fit the spacers or can I do without? Where are the washers supposed to go?

are they carbon arms? if so the washer will be for the pedals.

    Isnt there any instructions?

The instructions from shimano suggest that fitting advice should be sought from the supplier! **** all use. The crank arms are anodised ally.

Shimano do not have any tech docs for Zee or new Saint on the site yet.
Surprised you did not get a paper instruction sheet in 17 popular languages in the box.
The 3 plastic shims are for the bottom bracket.
In general, you have 2 on the drive side and one on the left for a 68mm shell and no chain device/e-type mech.
One on the drive side for 73mm shell and no chain device/e-type mech. No spacers needed for 73mm shell with device/e-type.
