My brother has just pre-ordered a 216x63mm CCDB inline for his Cube Stereo. I also fancy one for my Meta AM (200x57mm), but clearance for the shock itself is very tight – especially the gubbins at the base of the shaft.

Would there be issues with fitting the 216×63 (@ 0 PSI) shock to see if it will fit in the frame itself? – i.e not worried about the longer stroke allowing the back wheel to contact the seat tube and won’t be ridden.

I’m pretty sure commencal say remote shocks don’t fit. They sell a different swing arm now that will let you for one.

    Give it a shot though.

Ok cheers. They do sell new chainstays for £350 or so, but that makes it a rather expensive upgrade!
