Hi, not sure if I am doing this right – using a Park cassette tool.
I just dropped the cassette and it ended up there :

Then started tightening and at that point is starts being a bit hard, not sure if I should continue :

How much further does it need to go ?

    Thx

Make sure your actually lined up with the splines. There is no “big gap, small spline” like with Shimano.

It needs to bottom out against the splines.

Make sure you grease the inside of the cassette and the free hub.

40NM is the specified torque but in my experience they don’t need to be this tight. Once its bottomed out and there in no play its probably tight enough

Thanks – I went all the way – no torque wrench sadly so I hope I didn’t overtightened but it seems in position with no play. I guess I will find out if I did overtightened when it comes out – amply greased indeed.
