Blue (although red is always going to be faster)

I see the problem. The blue has a sophistication about it, while the red has fiery attraction.

    So… sophisticated or passionate?

    Ask your significant other.

The Blue looks a bit Golf substitute ‘IT crowd’.
The Red looks better, but still a bit ‘my first Sportive/KOM* hunter’

    Red looks great.

The blue looks like the colour scheme from an Aldi/Lidl cycling jersey.

You really don’t need to prefix your thread with “First world problem”

99.999% (low estimate) of threads in Bike forum are First World problems…

Even tougher in the fully built shots…

    Red. …

    Blue. ..

As for asking the wife…no chance. Im going for the it’s easier to ask for forgiveness than permission route on this one…

Lidl sponsors Etixx-Quick Step who Marcel Kittel’s just signed for…

    +1 for blue

i always want to do that, but then i realise its my money and my wife wouldnt care. its much harder to convince myself i ‘need’ to have a new 29r Rigid …..like in that thread earlier in the week…….

Blimey 90 quid for the frame. At that price get a blue and a red one! Ride the one that matches your mood 🙂

Which colour will it be easier to get matching lycra for? Choose that one.

Seriously, though, I am now sold on the blue.

Built up I think the blue edges it but maybe just because the red one looks more orange in that photo. I reckon blue but with white bar tape and saddle.

Is there such a thing as a zeroth world problem?

They both look like an explosion in a Chinese tat factory.

    In 2003.

    Which one matches your kit?

Either would match mine, so red. Always red. Red bikes are faster. Not as fast as white bikes#, but fast nevertheless.

    # New white propel is faster than old black and red one. I put this down to not enough redness.
