I have decided i am going to build my first bike. I am going to buy a full sus frame in the aim to build my own all mountain beast.

any tips or recommendations?

Do you own a bike at the moment? Are you going to be swapping over any bits from it? (i.e. check seatpost sizes, bottom bracket shell widths, headsets etc etc)

What frame are you getting?

Rorschach – ha ha, thats true, I was hoping a more of share your build stories type of thread.

mtbtomo – I am looking at getting an enduro frame ideally. I am keeping my eye open at others, such as pitch, remedy etc. I have a trek 6000, which in the long term I will keep and upgrade that as my XC bike. I want to build something that will run well on trails and also i can take to join in with my DH buds.
I was hoping initially transferring most stuff to the new frame, depending on what deal I got. Looking for second hand on ebay and the sell forum on here.

Before you do anything else, make sure your garden is presentable.
