I have an alloy frame with a small ding in the top tube. Nothing major or structural. just an impression. Just wondering if anyone has ever 'filled' stuff like this? If so, what did you use. Or would you just leave it? Its only cosmetic.

The frame is down to the metal at the moment as its about to be shipped off to be powder coated.

Any thoughts, advice or experiences oh wise STW massive

you need to talk to your powder coaters to find out which filler will be ok, if you were home spraying the answer would be easy just car body filler but as im pretty certain theyd say similar im not sure how the heat or frame cleaning process would affect it.

it was fine on mine and lasted but i would say its not worth the risk of it cracking and falling out, id personally just get the frame powder coated and put up with it how it is.
