    Falls of Bruar

Roads were all clear, a credit to scottish highways, just a shame too snowy for me to ride.

    Clear roads in Fife? Seriously?

Something's changed, normally it's a disaster getting about fife on an icy/snowy day.

Really? Until two days ago I had to drive on several inches of compressed snow to get to the M90.

Clear roads in Fife? I just saw Torvill & Dean skating Bolero at my road end.

(from an insider – i.e, the gritter driver)

Fife council ran out of grit two days ago – the only grit available was already loaded into the gritters. Thats why none of the cat3 roads were cleared – primary and bus routes only.

They were awaiting a shipload into rosyth docks last night which I assume arrived as they gritted our paths today – first time since 23rd we've seen a gritter in the street.

hey ho, shame i've had to work from home for the last three days 🙂

    happy new year btw 🙂

Smudger – Thanks for the heads up.

Gritter did the 20% hill in NQ this afternoon, was nice to see them out.
