    Chaps

The guy behind it is 6’6″ and is making them for 6’6″ and up. I always thought a 36er in a size big enough for me would look in proportion. Just got to persuade him to make one in something other than Ti.

Looks good tho. It is at the Sea Otter so there will be loads of coverage.

Really nice to finally see a 36er that isnt a ‘one size fits all’ 17″ frame.
That looks nicely in proportion like i always thought it would although i’m not a fan of truss forks but i’m sure they work well.

Problem is, i see 36ers as a bit of fun for a bike, not a serious offroad contender but builders only ever seem to want to use titanium (purely for less weight on bigger frames?) which is stupidly expensive and puts it way outside the price i’d be willing to pay for a ‘shits and giggles’ type of bike.
Maybe if the lottery numbers roll in…….

Pity there are no proper 36″ offroad tyres available though.

I wonder where he got the idea for that fork from 🙁

I’d assumed it was a Jones fork on a custom frame – but I guess a 36″ wheel wouldn’t fit in one!

FTR – I think he stole the diamond frame design too!

It might just fit if it were a Jones fork made for a 36er 😐

Looks good, just need to sprout another four inches!

Jeez, that could be my motto for life…
