My kid turns 11 in two weeks and he really wants a at bike as he loves my rose Tusker so much..lol
    What do I do….buy him a 26″ wheel fatbike or a 24″ ??
I would say he is average height…..but I’m thinking the 26″ is a bit too big
What have you guy got your kids??
    Thanks

I’m 6’2 and love thrashing my little 5″ travel hardtail on 24s with 3″ front and 2.6″ rear tyres. A miniature fatbike, sort of.

I reckon a 26″ bike would be a bit much for him, especially if it had the modern “long” geometry.

Didn’t someone convert 26″ SC Nomad to something like 24+, that looked like a proper little mini fat ripper.

found it, half way down this thread page… maybe you could do something like that on a more traditional frame though you might be struggling time wise.
