Family friendly trail centre in Mid-Wales?

If off to Mid Wales this week, specifically between Newtown and Machynlleth and was wondering about the nearest trail centre with good green/blue content.

My geography of Wales isn't too great but the blue/green at Brechfa would be great for all the family. Might be a bit of a trek though.

You're not far from Coed y Brenin if you're close to Machynlleth.

Does it have to be a trail centre? The Mach 1 route (out of Machynlleth) is ok for families.
