Save me hammering pressing the old headset out until I know… I just picked up a new headset for the old singlespeed. Get home, I notice the cups are fully external on he old one, am I likely to be able to fit the semi-integrated cups (also pictured)?

You can press almost anything with a big enough hammer.
    But not that.

Your frame takes a 1.125″ external headset which has a 31.0mm ID headtube whereas the semi-integrated one is designed for a 44mm ID headtube. You might still be able to get replacement bearings for your Cane Creek which means you don’t have to replace the cups.

The bearings in the new (wrong size) headset might fit the old one, cartridge/cup&cone mixuppery notwithstanding, obvs.

I’ll be removing and selling a 1 1/8″ Hope headset on eBay in a week…

It’s silver, the old style – flanged crown race with a seal, bearings fixed in place. I’ll just be putting it on eBay with a low-ish start price.
